Burnin Daylight will take the stage as the featured act at Yellville’s Music on the Square on Saturday night.
Music will begin at 7:30 p.m. Saturday on the Marion County Courthouse square in Yellville. In an effort to help beat the heat, Saturday's show will start 30 minutes later than the event's typical 7 p.m. time.
Saturday's event is free and Saturday night’s show is sponsored by Twin Lakes Recovery and Carlos Parker.
Burnin’ Daylight is a local band that plays positive country, contemporary and gospel music. The band covers artists like Martina McBride, The Eagles, Lady Antebellum, Maddie & Tae, The Judd’s, The Isaac’s, and Natalie Grant.
The band features Lee Anne Jackson, Cate Jackson and Susi Vangilder on vocals, with Curt Dixon playing lead guitar and singing lead on several songs. Mark Kapshandy plays rhythm guitar, Tony Chastain plays bass and Jayme Patterson plays drums.
Music on the Square vendors will be selling food items Saturday night. Attendees will also be eligible to win door prizes, which will be drawn during the band's intermission.
