Kids hear vulgar music of
BART riders sans earbuds

Re: “What part of no food on BART do people not understand?” (Letter to the editor, Eastbaytimes.com, Nov. 15):

I agree: What part of no food on the platforms or in trains do people not understand? Also, let me add: No playing loud music.

People are listening to music without the use of headphones or earbuds. Some music contains vulgar language, which small kids are being subjected to. Some people could have a headache after work and not want to hear certain kinds of music.

People need to read BART’s rules and abide by them and not just read text messages or Facebook postings. I am not mad at BART police for enforcing the rules or laws on the BART system. Now, let’s talk about all those fare evaders at El Cerrito Del Norte BART.
